Custom Burger in East Elmhurst

Food tastes like a middle school cafeteria.The 4.2oz burger (the size of a drink coaster) costs $8.50, and when you check out it asks if you want to add fries for $5 - extremely overpriced and intentionally deceptive checkout.Also, it is a nightmarish hellscape to eat a cheap cold burger and ketchup in front of a bright screen spamming ads that you can’t turn off.What a joke

Rude service, hamburger is comparable to a station microwaveable burger. Paid 33.75 USD for 2 coaster sized burgers, and an order of mccains fries. The fries were 6$ , and we received approximately 15 stubs of mccains previously frozen fries.

NEVER EAT HERE! The hamburgers were cold, nothing like the picture. The server was rude. The portions are tiny. I’ve traveled extensively, this is by far the worst airport restaurant I have ever encountered . This is truly an abuse.

You can see a stack of precooked aging burger patties on the flattop drying out and getting overcooked. Doesn't matter how good the meat is when raw, if you treat it like that, ends up awful. On top of that it took forever to get food too! Will never eat here again.

Food was ok but waiting 23 minutes for our burgers to even go onto the grill (with no crowds or line at all) is just out of control horrible for an airport ‘quick service’ restaurant. 30 minutes to get an order of 2 burgers and 1 fries. Only 3 other people ordered during that time (and somehow all 3 got their food before us). Thank you, Pat!

The expected time of my order being ready was 15 minutes and it took over a bloody half hour to serve me with only 2 shakes and some chicken tenders. Along with poor service and a confusing payment method, please do not waste your time.

It’s just shame ! Waited 20 min for plain chicken burger , which by the way costs $18.. rude lazy stuff telling you that you have to wait!!! Dirty place, unbeatable food, rude shop assistant! Just embarrassing.

It was cool to be able to order your burger from the touchpad, but you can’t customize one of their stock burgers very much. You have to do the build-your-own. Tables are filthy. It’s also cool to get paged when your burger is ready, but service is INCREDIBLY SLOW. Also, be prepared to pay at LOT of money for your burger.

Super expensive and not worth it. The fries were good. I didn't have to wait too long.

A solid burger but service is terrible ! After waiting for over 30 minutes (and seeing two people next to me who arrived 15 mins after me get there burgers ) I finally got my food. Which was not the burger I ordered. I had pretty much finished my beer but mentioned that I had gotten the wrong burger and the waitress just looked away. I ate what they gave me but will not be coming back! I fly through here alot and have come here before and seen this exact scenario play out with others seated near me. Get it together guys ! The burgers are really good but service is some of the worst !

Service was very slow. Burger I recieved was not what I ordered. Had items on it that I took off when ordering. And it was a sloppy mess. Took one bite and didnt eat any more of it.

Absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. The workers were so slow it took over 20 minutes and the cashier was extremely rude. She hates the world and customers apparently.

The concept of this restaurant is hip and everything, but it falls so short in terms of overall experience. The service was so bad. The staff don't really talk to you and if you need anything, you have to get up and tell them. They don't even make eye ccontact.. frustrating experience.The food was good though.

Expect to wait a long time for your order at this “quick” service restaurant.

So slow. I actually had to leave after waiting for 30 minutes for a burger to catch my flight. Not even enough time to get a refund. If options at LGA weren’t so limited this place would be out of business.

Crispy chicken sandwich appears to be made with that pink slime chicken as I see nothing that looks like actual chicken. I’ve never been to a restaurant (until now) where I can hear everyone around me complaining. This is the kind of place where you say how bad it is to people entering as to spare them from the experience you just had.

Food took forever to come out and when it did finally did it was cold. Server was kind enough to re-fire it and comp the food tab. The only thing nice about this was having a kind server.

Ordered at 7:15 PM via an electronic system. Unless you read the minds of those standing around you, you would never know that the area to pay, and thus, start the staff making your order, is 20 feet away. There is no sign letting you know this. After paying for my order I waited at least 30 minutes for one hamburger. My husband ordered a chili dog, which took 40 minutes. FORTY. MINUTES. It came overcooked with a terribly salty chili topping. The price for the folly of visiting this wretchedly serviced establishment? $35 for a hot dog and hamburger. Avoid this place like the plague.

By far the worst looking plain tasting burger I've ever experienced. The JFK location needs to put the proper ingredients on the burgers they serve cause if you can't make it the way it should be presented according to the menu then give up.

Terrible terrible terrible. Thru the 13.50 meal in to the trash after eating 27 minutes for it. DONT BUY FOOD FROM HERE. NOT FRESH, OLD AND COLD. SOMEONE CLEARLY PAID THE HEALTH DEPT OFF

Would give zero if possible. Pat La Freida you should pay attention to what they put your name on. Cold limp fries, over cooked tasteless burger and a confusing payment system. Definitely not going back here ever.

$2 charity fundraiser burgers for $10+. Hilarious, really. Should’ve checked the reviews before I bothered placing an order. If I were Pat LaFrieda, I would immediately opt for a name change.

All the ingredients come from some food service. Obviously no care is taken in the food. Pat should not put his name on this. Ordered an omelette with avocado slices they put a food industry pre made guacamole on it.

Don't waste your money. Staff was rude. Paid $5.00 for a Coke and didn't get one refill. The staff was by fast the worst I've experienced.

Worst service. Waited over 30 minutes for take out two burgers and 1 order tatertots. We practically missed our flight. We had to yell at the counter to get our tatertots (that they were constantly distributing to the sit down plates). The food was mediocre at best and way over priced. Why can’t LGA allow decent vendors to compete. There’s no options here and they suck. This made our trip extra stressful for no reason. Only the big guy making burgers knew how to multitask. Everyone else just acted busy and were moving; but really achieving nothing. This place needs to be shut down

I enjoyed a huge breakfast here after a rough landing. The food was amazing and worth the price for the portions. The pancakes were so pluffy and flavorful. Perfectly satisfying experience will help me to continue my long traveling day to Argentina!!!

I wish I had checked the reviews before ordering here. Ordered a cod sandwich. They had none of the add-ons (avocado, pico de gallo) charged for. Gave lettuce, tomato and onion. As I took my first bite, realized all these were left out for way too long without refrigeration. They were rotten and had to spit them out. This business deserves to be shut down.

Terrible burgers for 9.35(a single burger without fries and drink)

We ordered hotdogs and the bread was mold in the bottom. I had an infection in my mouth because of this.The same day we ate there I tried to contact someone but they don’t have any phone number or address to contact them.

We came to this restaurant deciding it was the best option for a flight in Terminal D was boarding in an hour. I ordered for my family and found the menu very confusing. We ended up ordering for 5 people and a 2 year old, and our total was over 100 dollars. We ordered 4 burgers, a hotdog, and fries. When we received our food half and hour later, we were shocked to find the meat missing from half our sandwiches, and to find out they were much smaller then what the photo showed. In fact, one of the burgers were a double cheeseburger appearing to be as tall as a water bottle, but when we received it it was smaller than the custom burgers. Do not waste your money on the restaurant whose quality is not up to its price.

Horrible. Ordered fries and a drink. Fries were cold and some burnt. The drink never arrived after waiting an hour! The management promised promised to refund my card but it never happened. Waste of $26.00. Sad considering its an airport establisment.

Wish I could give ZERO stars. Service was 28 minutes between ordering and receiving food. They use iPads for ordering, and then 4 employees shuffle about and nobody cares if you get your food or even checks on you. My burger was cold by the time they figured out I had ordered onion rings. Never eat here !! On top of that, you order at the burger stand, and pay 20 yards away, and napkins are 50 yards further. I hope they get a Chick-fil-a or someplace that has some resemblance to customer service. This place is a huge FAIL !

Had a chicken sandwich which was pretty decent but definitely not worth the price. The service was mediocre, servers do not seem like they want to be there and the food took a about 30 minutes to come out. Would recommend eating here though just because there's nothing better at the airport. Eat before if you can.

It took 15 minutes to get one burger. For 12 dollars the burger is barely bigger than a dollar burger at McDonalds. My "fried pickles" that i paid extra for were just heated up pickle slices.

Food and service not good at all. Drinks over priced with no refills, makes more sense to get a drink in the grocery area and bring it here.

Waited 30 minutes for a chicken sandwich and loaded tots. Only to sit down and see a chicken sandwich without any sriracha mayo, cabbage, caramelized onions or any other condiments. Just chicken and a plain bun. Cost about $30. Mediocre food and employees looked high as hell.

My Entire plate was ice cold. Not even slightly warm. I ordered the avocado burger, it came with a different cheese than pepper jack, and the avocado was mashed, not sliced! It was disgusting. $16 for a tiny burger and fries that were barely edible. Never eat here!!!! No one checked on me either. Waste of money. Go to McDonald’s or chic-fil-a!
